Does membership in GTACM give me membership in ACM?

They’re not the same organization, if that’s what you’re asking; this is a chapter of the larger organization. Becoming a member of our chapter gives you access to our members-only events and social events, and greater access at general events, and helps us afford these events. Becoming a member of the (inter)national ACM is significantly more expensive, but you get access to journal publications and several other impressive benefits. Why not do both?

How do I join?

To become a member, click the PayPal buttons on the right side of the webpage. If you would like to pay in cash, the person you should talk to is our treasurer. (Currently: Patrick Eisenmann)

How do I get more involved?

Have a look at our Getting Involved page.

What does becoming a member give me?

Have a look at our Getting Involved page, under “members.”

How much does it cost?

$10/semester

I see people taking pictures at events. Where do those go?

Pictures are generally uploaded to our flickr pool. If you have event photos and a flickr account as well, we encourage you to add them to that group.
