About

The Georgia Tech Association for Computing Machinery is the Georgia Tech student chapter of ACM, the computing professional society. GTACM provides networking opportunities for students to learn about the latest companies and technology. We work with corporations large and small, from Yahoo to Microsoft to local startups and hold many events throughout the school year, including Tech Talks, programming competitions and social events. One of our biggest events every year is Yahoo! Hack Week.

We have several Special Interest Groups, known as SIGs, that cover a wide range of specific topics. We also have one of the top programming teams in the nation! The many events we have are almost always posted to Facebook and Twitter, and generally sent out via the email lists. Most events are open to everyone, with benefits for members (such as additional access to companies, food, and swag). So, please get involved!
